I'M NEW TO CHURCH - HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
Getting plugged in and connected to a new church can be challenging. At FWC, we have created some easy opportunities that should help you transition into our church community smoothly and effectively.
MEET & GREET
Join us for a meet and greet and take the opportunity to meet the pastors, staff and leaders of Family Worship Center. This is a brief, informal gathering right after one of our Sunday morning services. We serve light refreshments (coffee, of course) and take the time to meet each other and answer questions. These are scheduled once every three months.
STARTING POINT
Starting Point is a one-time class that introduces people to the history, beliefs, leadership structure and other basic fundamentals of the church. It is a vital "starting point" to becoming a deeply connected member of FWC. It meets during the 9am service on Sunday mornings, four times a year.
SMALL GROUPS
Small groups are essential to spiritual growth and maturity. We value relationships and accountability and both of these are developed in the context of small groups. Breaking bread together, praying for one another and supporting one another are essential elements is christian community. We have many different groups that meet at various times during the week and month.
SERVE TEAM
Our serve team is the heart and soul of Family Worship Center. It is our team of exceptional volunteers who make ministry possible at FWC. Serving on a team is both a rewarding and worthy investment and we encourage everybody to serve in some capacity, either large or small. It is easy to jump on a team and you will be glad you did.
